Terms & Conditions

Last updated 8 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SignSign (the “Service”), an electronic document-signing service operated from Singapore (“SignSign”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

01

Acceptance

By accessing or using SignSign, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By using SignSign you represent that you meet these requirements.

03

The Service

SignSign lets you upload documents, place fields, invite recipients, and collect electronic signatures, along with an audit trail of signing activity. You are responsible for the documents you send, the accuracy of recipient details, and ensuring that electronic signing is appropriate and lawful for your particular document, parties, and jurisdiction.

04

Electronic Signatures & Legal Validity

Electronic signatures are recognised under Singapore’s Electronic Transactions Act and similar laws in many other countries. By signing through SignSign you intend your electronic signature to be the legal equivalent of your handwritten signature. However, certain documents (for example some wills, deeds, or property instruments) may be excluded from electronic signing or require additional formalities. You are solely responsible for confirming that a given document may be validly signed electronically in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not guarantee that any signature collected through the Service will be enforceable in every context.

05

Free Service

Core document signing is provided free of charge, with no credit card required. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, we will clearly identify what is free and what is paid before you incur any charge.

06

Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

07

Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents and content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, delivering it to your recipients, generating the signed PDF, and producing the audit trail). You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and to invite the recipients you designate.

08

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SignSign for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose, including impersonating others or forging signatures, sending spam, uploading malware, infringing others’ rights, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

09

AI Features

Some features use artificial intelligence — for example, suggesting where signature fields should go, and (for recipients) summarising a document or answering questions about it. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect, is provided for convenience only, and is not legal advice. Always review a document yourself before signing or sending. When you use an AI feature, document content is processed by our AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.

10

Intellectual Property

The SignSign name, brand, software, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our marks or software except as necessary to use the Service.

11

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that signatures collected will be enforceable in every jurisdiction.

12

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignSign and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or SGD 100.

13

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

14

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
